>Fresh Meat

>Well actually this meat has been hanging around for a while. I’m proud to announce that Jesper Moller has recently made it through the gauntlet of committer elections for WTP Source Editing. We are just waiting on final paper work approval from the foundation. Jesper has been working most recently with the wst.xsl (XSL Tools) component, in fact he was one of the original committers to XSL Tools. Recently we found a challenge interesting enough to entice him to come back to the fold.

Jesper has been helping out with the PsychoPath XPath 2.0 processor, and has helped immensely with some of the Parser/Lexer and node navigation issues. I suspect to eventually turn control over to him and Mukul Gandhi and that will let Doug Satchwell and I concentrate a bit more on the XSL 2.0 items that need to be addressed.

Slowly but surely we are refreshing the XML expertise on the WTP Project, hopefully there will be more good things to come in the future.

Speaking of XML…be watching out for an XQuery announcement from the WTP Incbuator project in the coming weeks, some exciting stuff is starting to take place there. Oh and for you RelaxNG fans…there will be a new WTP Incubator project starting up for that as well.

  1. Jesper says:

    >Does this mean that you'll be incubating your RelaxNG schema IDE using XText?

  2. David Carver says:

    >Yes. We will also have rng validation and content assistance in the XML editor as well.

  3. Jesper says:

    >Then bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=265097will interest you – it's a general mechanism og letting XText update the source code when you modify the domain model.Great for refactoring.
