>WSO2 Carbon WSAS IDE Tools and Top Down Web Service

>I’ve installed the WSO2 Carbon IDE tools for eclipse, and can create and deploy a web service using the bottom up approach (i.e. JAVA class to Web Service). However, I can not seem to generate the necessary code when going from the Top-Down (i.e. WSDL First), development. The WSDL is valid as I have been able to generate the code using the standard AXIS 2 tools provided by WTP, but can not get the WSO2 tools to generate the code and generate. I’ve opened a bug against the WSO2 WSAS IDE as https://wso2.org/jira/browse/WSAS-813. In case any WSO2 developers are reading this here is the stacktrace as well.

IWAB0014E Unexpected exception occurred.

This seems to be saying it can not find the appropriate Apache Axis 2 classes.

  1. >WSO2 is a bit fascinating in the fact that they are trying to pedal “lightweight webservices” which I think is an impossible combination ;)But we’ll see!
