>For those that are planning to attend EclipseCon 2009, my XSLT and eclipse XSL Tools tutorial has been accepted. XSLT is one of those languages that can be a bit frustrating to get your head around, because you don’t necessarily think of things in a object or procedural fashion. However, once you get the concepts, it becomes a very powerful language for manipulating any type of XML content. It’s usually my first choice before Data Binding, or other forms of manipulation of XML.
This will be a hands on tutorial, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. The tutorial itself will cover XSLT 1.0 and XPath 1.0, which gives a good foundation for those wanting to use some of the more advanced features in XSLT 2.0, EXSLT, and XPath 2.0.
